The hexagon structure of Honey is also seen as the cellular structure of the photoreceptor cones within the Human retina - the part of the eye that translates light wavelengths, colour and images to the brain.
What is also interesting is that recent scientific research shows us that the blood vessels within the Retina are closely connected to the health of your Heart. On a physical level this means that eye issues can be directly linked to heart problems. And on an energetic level, this can be interpreted to mean that our perception of reality is directly correlated to our capacity to open our heart & receive love.
This connection between Perceiving & Receiving is at the core of Renaissance - that offers us a revival in the way which we both perceive and receive Creation, by honoring the hexagonal geometry of our photoreceptors.
